Mermaid nails...hot or not?

So I painted my nails again...and there's a positive and a negative side to my new sparkly teal manicure...the positive side is, my nails remind me of these amazing sparkly pencils I had in third grade...the negative side is, my nails remind me of these sparkly pencils I had in third grade, LOL! Can't decide if it's tacky or cool...what do you think?
