The Best Spring Dress for your Shape

Spring is here!!! I can't wait to get a bit of sun on my legs and go out to dinner in a new Spring dress...here is my guide to finding the right short dress for your body type! Hope you enjoy this...I have worked really hard researching and putting together this post, hope it helps!!

If you have been blessed with a pair of sizable ta-tas:
Sleeveless sheath dresses are great for you because they show your shape without showing cleavage. If you get a dress with a slight belled skirt, it helps balance out your top.

This dress works great because it's formfitting and sexy while not showing cleavage! And since there are no set boundaries or seams on this dress where your breasts have to fit in, you don't have to stress about it fitting your chest just right. To check out this dress, click here.


On the reverse side, if you're pear-shaped, opt for a dress with a skirt that doesn't cling anywhere, like a full skirt or A-line. Another way to make yourself look more proportional, is to find a dress in an all-over print or pattern, which gives the illusion of proportion on top and bottom.

If you're petite, find a dress that hits above the knees. Show some leg! A higher-cute waist is also a good idea, in that it will elongate your legs and help you look taller. Stick to one embellishment-pockets, a little ruffle, or a bow, and don't go overboard, so you don't look too little-girly.

For plus-size girls, concentrate on defining your waist. Studies have shown that it's not a particular size that men are attracted to, but rather a waist-hip-bust ratio. Hourglass shapes are sexy at any size, so showcase the smallest part of your waist! Don't shy away from a fitted dress...they are actually flattering on bigger shapes, just make sure it's not second-skin tight. Wrap dresses are great on plus-sizes because they wrap around the smallest part of your waist. Belted styles work too! If you get a print, try a larger print...for example, no tiny floral patterns. A larger print helps you look more proportional and stream-lined. Bold geometric patterns, especially that involve vertical stripes, look great on larger frames.

And finally, for those of us who are small-breasted, I have one word: RUFFLES!!! Or try a cowlneck...both look great on form-fitting dresses because they disguise the shape of your chest instead of drawing attention to what is lacking. I find that if I wear tight dresses, they make my chest look almost shockingly tiny. I found this dress at Sears for 24.99!!!

Even from the side, you can't tell I have tiny boobs, lol!!
